Violet always had a soft spot for ghost type pokemon. Studying them was her first introduction into the realm of researching as she assisted her father. One could argue it was a specialty of hers and why her first pokemon was a Litwick. While she doesn't want to lock herself into a single type of pokemon, she could not help but to scratch that itch to study them. It was what she was most comfortable with. Wanting to do something fun instead of pushing her own boundaries, the girl put up a request to study a ghost type from the Hisuian Phenomenon. When she made request like this, she liked to have a pokemon related to the theme but well... Cinder wasn't the most well behaved around strangers and the unknown... well and with the known. So when the little tike peeked out from behind the wall, the girl's eyes went wide. Like a mother of an overactive 1 year old who got into a place they did not belong, she struggled to contain her breaths while trying to coax the candle pokemon to come to her. It however, being the embodiment of mischief just giggled and made this a game. Ducking into the wall and poking out in another spot. This "game" continued for about 3 more rounds before the pokemon. Finally glomming on onto the top of the girl's hair and just nuzzled the girl. 

It was cute, and probably the best place for her to not trouble anyone... But when some random person walked into the room... she was was going to feel it as the pokemon started tugging on her hair in fear.
